Turbidity Standards
This short video provides viewers with an overview and short summary of Turbidity Standards.
Turbidity is a test of drinking water, both raw and treated. It is a regularly performed test, but sometimes poorly understood. Not only is turbidity a key indicator of water quality, but it can also be used as a key determinant of chemicals used to reduce suspended solids in water.
Apart from turbidity being important in several aspects of water and wastewater, such measurement has an application in fermentation, many aspects of food and beverage processing and quality control, applications in electroplating, pulp and paper processing and measurement of cations including Iron indirectly in geothermal power plants.
Turbidity Standards and Reference Materials
Turbidity Standards and Reference Materials is a technical paper by John Barron which provides details on the definition of turbidity, turbidity measurement, instrumentation that is used to measure turbidity and information on both formazin and formazin free...
Turbiform™ Stabilised Formazin Turbidity Standards
Reagecon’s Research and Development team have developed a proprietary synthetic process, that produces a family of products called Turbiform™.
These products combine most of the positive attributes of the formazin and AMCO APEA-1 ranges of standards already available from Reagecon, whilst eliminating most of the shortcomings.
United States Patent for the Use of Nanoparticles in the Preparation of Calibration Standards
Reagecon has been granted a United States Patent for the Use of Nanoparticles in the Preparation of Calibration Standards. This invention concerns the use of nanoparticles comprising an analyte in the preparation of a calibration standard for use in an analytical...
Viscosity Measurement, Applications and Standards
This short video provides viewers with an overview and short summary of Viscosity Standards. It briefly describes how Viscosity is measured, the different types and applications of Viscosity along with what industries predominantly use Viscosity Standards.
Such materials can be used for calibration, quality control, method validation, instrument qualification, verification and analyst qualification. We hope you find this compendium beneficial; that the products on offer match your technical specifications; represent value for money and that they will greatly enhance your ability to achieve valid and correct analytical results now and in the future.
Viscosity Standards
Reagecon offers an exciting range of certified, accurate and traceable Viscosity Standards. These products can be used for calibration, control, verification, qualification or method validation of Kinematic and Dynamic Viscosity Measurement Instruments (both manual and automatic). Products are traceable to the ITS-90 Temperature Scale and the universally accepted Primary Standard value of the Viscosity of Water at 20°C
Volumetric Glassware – A Reagecon Guide
Introduction Volume measurement is one of the routine tasks in the laboratory. Typical volumetric instruments, such as one-mark and graduated pipettes, burettes, volumetric flasks and cylinders are therefore part of the basic requirement. Volumetric equipment are...
